How to clear Gmail and Google Photos space

Is there a limit to Gmail storage?

Google allows you store data up to 15 GB for free. This space will be shared across Gmail , Google Drive and Google Photos

What happens if my Gmail is full?

If you get notification that your Gmail or Google Photos is full. You could deleted unwanted and large files to free up storage. Google dashboard is an online Google tool that allows  you to manage the data in your Google Account

  • Login to Google Dashboard (https://myaccount.google.com/dashboard)
  • Navigate to Gmail, Photos section
  • Find out which service is taking how much space
  • Click on individual sections ( example Gmail: Trash etc )
    and empty trash and delete wanted data

Note : Gmail Messages that have been in Trash more than 30 days will be automatically deleted
