Microsoft confirmed that the Windows 7 will be in stores beginning October 22nd for the general public, pricing has yet to be announced. But MSDN, TechNet and BitTorrent members will get it much earlier, in late July or early August.
If you want to get your hands on Windows 7 you have test with the Microsoft Windows 7 Release Candidate which is available to download. Microsoft isn’t providing technical support for the the RC, so be sure to back up your data and please don’t test the RC on your primary home or business PC.
