Windows 10 has a feature called Airplane Mode, which allows you to turn off the wireless communication on your PC.
Basically this feature disables a device’s wireless transmission functions, airplane mode offers a quick way to unplug from internet and prolong your battery life.
To turn on or off Airplane Mode
Go to notification area on Task Bar >> Click Network icon or Notification icon
Click the Airplane mode control to turn it on or off.
When Airplane Mode is on, you’ll see Airplane icon on the notification area.
In Airplane Mode, following wireless features will be turned off
- Wi-Fi
- Mobile broadband
- Bluetooth
- GPS or GNSS
- Near field communication (NFC)
- and all other types of wireless communication.
