Difference between Sleep & Shutdown in Windows 10

What does Windows 10 sleep, restart and shutdown mean ?

Sleep
– The PC Stays on but uses low power. Apps stays open so when the PC wakes up, you’re instantly back to where you left off (hibernate).

Restart
– Closes all apps, turns it off, and then turns it on again.

Shut down
– Closes all apps, and then turns it off.

Update and restart
– Closes all apps, updates the PC, turns it off, and then turns it on again.

Update and shut down
– Closes all apps, updates the PC, and then turns it off.
