Windows’ system tray is on the far right end of your task bar which holds shortcuts to programs that loads when your PC boots.

for ex. Removing an Icon from your System Tray, all you have to do is

  1. Right-click on the Start button and choose Properties.
  2. Choose the Taskbar tab
  3. Click on the button near the bottom marked Customize
  4. Choose “Always Hide” as the behavior for all the icons you no longer want to see.

This doesn’t really delete the tray icons, I was looking for a way to really delete them. e.g. The ‘Unlocker’ software has been uninstalle on my pc but is still there as ‘Always Hide’. This is what I want to delete.
