How to Remove Stored User Names & Passwords in Safari

Like any other web browsers when you enter a user name and password for a website, Safari asks if you want to save the user name, password and form information. This feature is called Safari Autofill. You can turn off this feature and delete any user names and passwords Safari has saved.

  • Choose Edit > Preferences
  • Click the AutoFill tab
  • Click the Edit button next to the autofill information
  • Select individual information and then click Remove, or click Remove All
  • Click Done

Doesn’t work… cookies reappear, usernames automatically appear on websites etc within minutes of clearing cache, deleting cookies, resetting safari…
