World Class Education To Your Children – International Schools

indusschoolblrindia.jpgNow, it has become a craze among privileged Indians, keen on a world-class education for their children. The international schools in India offer a good mix of cutting edge teaching methodology and internationalism. Universities all over the world place a high value on the Diploma Course and accept IB students readily, sometimes even offering scholarships.

Most International schools in India offer a combination of the ICSE, IGCSE and International Baccalaureate (IB), the first two evolving from a common parenthood, the Cambridge University system, while the latter saw its beginnings in 1968 in Switzerland to aid the children of diplomats. The American School in Delhi was the first to introduce IB in 1982.

Education here costs a minimum of Rs 2 lakh per year and can go up to an astounding Rs 9 lakh.

Here are the some of the Best International Schools in India

There are more international schools that have been started (since this article was published) – some of them being – Trio, Stonehill, Canadian, Ebenezer.

Each of them claim to focus on developing “well rounded individuals” and have varying degree of focus on education.

Would encourage individuals to do their research before signing up with these schools. Also, in case you folks have personal experience with this school do share it to help others at zeeksha.com

    Hi,
As a expats Mom i would suggest parents TRIO WORLD SCHOOL, in Bangalore.
It like a second Home for my son. Even in Canada he never use to like his school as in India.

    His performance has also improved.

Dear Noopur, friends, and other visitors,
This is jaydip from Kodiakanal international school, Tamilnadu. I am not boasting about the school but its a fact KIS has served the country and the globe for last 108 years, and the pioneer in IB-education since 1976. What makes KIS great, much above Indian standard of eduction, you can only understand if you visit KIS and is the only school in India has students from 28 nations. KIS doesn’t believe in advertisement of its education and promotion, but after serving schools like The Doon, Dehradun, St. Paul’s Darjeeling, SBA, bangalore, when i have landed in KIS, i really started loving every aspect of the school. I just want to add a last word, this is the only school i have seen where students don’t want to leave the school, attachment is such strong. hope you all will visit us.

Pathways World School in my opinion is the best Boarding school in delhi/ncr and one of the best in India. My sister’s kids are studying there and i can vouch for them. In just 2 years, i could see a very substantial change in them. I have been there stayed with them once, i must say i’m truly impressed. They have the best infrastructure in the country. Apartment complexes are well-laid out and lavish, the rooms are very comfortable and are on twin-sharing basis. Even we had this doubt of kids being snobbish but trust me, they are so well-disciplined, pathways has really imbibed in them a sense of responsibility, the best part is kids dont function has robots there but have the freedom to choose what they like, this in my opinion brings out the talent in a child. We never knew our kids had so much interest in music, and we only realised that when we saw him performing on the stage.

Hi..so happy to see Pathways here…
I am studying in Pathways World School for last 3 years…..before that i have been to other International Schools as well…but I got to say that Pathways has been the best in the lot in every possible way!! Not only the Schools gives us a potent direction towards the career but also takes care of the different other extra curricular activities…..it is here that i realized that i have the qualities to be a good musician…..sharing this article so that all my friends knows about it…

Hai, I am in Indus Bangalore School. School is very good but so many politics. Small Example: Recently my CEO sacked one of our receptionist, but after six months the CEO recommended the same person to same branch with high salary. He do not know any work.

I am sure our CEO is SACK Master
