Hyundai Motor will invest $1 billion by 2013 in India, to beef up operations in the country.
- The company today commissioned its second plant set up at a total investment of $528 million (Rs 2,429 crore).
- With the new plant total production capacity in India would double to 6 lakh units per annum.
- The plant would have a capacity of 3 lakh units and would be utilised mainly for producing the hatchback model i10.
