If you want a top-level domain in Mexico, then you can pre-registration .MX domain names. Domain Names of Mexico, .MX is being re-launched with no organization or location restrictions.
Web hosting domain registrar, Go Daddy has made available for pre-registration of .MX domain names for mexico. Only persons who owned a .com.mx prior to March 1, 2009 can apply for the .MX domain.
.MX domain Pre-Registration period ends July 31, 2009 and public registration begins on September 1, 2009. Remember, If you do not own a .com.mx, you do not qualify for the pre-registration period.
