Google is on Twitter and so the Blogger.  Now, AdSense joined Twitter @adsense.  Adsense will communicate with publishers using Twitter.  According to Adsense their tweets will be a mix of fresh product news, optimization tips, interesting links, upcoming events, and possibly even pictures of their dogs.
