Jet Airways Lays Off 1,900 Employees

Due to recent fuel prices and the downturn in traffic, India’s largest private-sector carrier Jet Airways on Wednesday announced laying off 1,900 of its employees across all operations.

Jet Airways buys Bandra-Kurla complex (BKC) plot for Rs 826 crores

The Bandra-Kurla complex (BKC) is a planned commercial complex in the suburbs of Mumbai (Bombay). Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) has been known for its mega land deals.

Jet Airways has bagged a commercial plot C-18 with a total developable area of 24,000 sq metre, for Rs 3,44,448 per sq metre. Jet Airways will land up paying Rs 826 crore totally for that plot.

Boeing 787 Dreamliner may face 3rd delay


Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner aircraft may face its 3 rd serious delay when it issues an update on the project at the end of this month, reports Financial Times.

Boeing said it is assessing the progress of the 787, its first all-new commercial jet since the 777 entered service in 1995. “We are working towards a schedule that we had outlined in January,” said Boeing. Boeing plans to update its delivery schedule after its first quarter earnings in April.
