I have the time Warner free CA Antivirus protection on my home computer- do I need to renew that ! or do any upgrades! or is this done automatically

My understanding is that up to 4 computers under my account can have this anitvirus software for free…what’s the process to notify Time Warner that one computer is no longer operational and that the software on that PC needs to be disabled? It is the laptop that had the anitvirus downloaded on Jun 29, 2011.
R.R. CA anit virus I keep getting a message to re-new your protection but I also read that it re-news itself after a year.. Could you let me know which is true and if I do have to update it how do I do that? Thanks so much in advance… Vickie
