Mahendra Singh Dhoni costs Rs 6 crore at IPL auction

Indian charismatic one-day captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was sold to Indian Premier League franchise Chennai for a $1.5 million (approximately Rs 6 crore) in the IPL auction at Mumbai.

The 26-year-old Dhoni set the mark for the first-ever auction of world’s top cricketers when he was acquired by the Chennai franchisee for a three-year period.
