Google Suggest - Best Real Time Suggestions

As you type into the search box, Google Suggest guesses what you’re typing and offers suggestions in real time with a small drop down menu directly under the search box. It is similar to the “Did you mean?” feature Google has had on the search result pages

When you type: “stocks ” Google Suggest might offer: “stocks and shares” “stocks to buy”

Chrome Keyboard Shortcuts

Google Chrome Browser has lots of built-in keyboard shortcuts like Firefox.

* (Chrome only) Ctrl+B toggles the bookmarks bar on and off.
* (Chrome only) Shift+Escape opens Google Chrome’s Task Manager.
* Ctrl+L to move your cursor to the address bar.
* Ctrl+K moves your cursor to the address bar to enter a Google search.
* Ctrl+T opens a new tab.

* Ctrl+W closes the current tab.
* Ctrl+R refreshes the current page.
* Ctrl+H opens the History tab.
* Alt+Home loads your homepage.
* Ctrl+1 through 9 switches to a particular open tab position.
* Ctrl++, Ctrl+-, Ctrl+0 Enlarges, reduces, and restores default text sizes, respectively.

How many Google Searches per day ?

Google wants to be a worldwide data center that stores every piece of personal and corporate information. Google is pushing cloud computing to accomplish this.

In 1998, Google handled 10,000 searches a day and 500,000 a day in 1999. According to research group comScore estimates that Google hosted 235 million searches a day in July of this year (2008).
