Six months after the release of the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, Indian authorities have begun questioning Microsoft’s use of the Taj Mahal in the Windows Vista Wow launch event. On January 30, 2007, the Redmond company made Windows Vista available to no less than 70 countries around the world, including India.
Lenovo, the world’s third-largest computer maker by shipments, said it would begin assembling computers at a new facility in Mexico and India with an investment of $30 million. This is a huge effort by lenovo to take on rivals Hewlett-Packard Co. and Dell Inc. in key markets outside its home turf of China.
The iPhone may be available in India through Reliance Infocomm, Wipro or HCL who are expected to sign deal soon with Apple for selling iPhone in India.
