GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL), the developer of the airport, has roped AR Rahman to compose the tunes for the airport.

While Prasoon has penned the lyrics, Rahman’s tunes will welcome the guests from March 16 onwards. His unique tune for Airtel is very popular among the music lovers.

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport popularly known as Hyderabad International Airport, is a new airport near Shamshabad about 22 km from the city of Hyderabad, in India named after former prime minister of India Rajiv Gandhi. The airport will replace the current airport, Begumpet Airport. Scheduled to open on 16 March 2008.

If top media sources are to be believed, Bollywood superstars Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan are going to team up with Indian Cricket League(ICL).

Kareena had participated in a show last November to launch the ICL.

Unlike the Indian Premier League, the ICL has ruled out handed over ownership to the superstars, Instead of buying the teams, Aamir and Kareena will have multiple sponsorships with ICL teams.

According to the deals,

• Aamir Khan - is set to buy Lahore Badshahs.
• Kareena Kapoor - is set to buy Mumbai Champs.

UK’s first Bollywood acting school is to be opened in London this September - Boman Irani, Tabu, Anupam Kher , and Urmila Matondkar will teach at the first Bollywood acting school in Britain.

Students will enrol on a three-month intensive course, taught by Bollywood actors and film-makers.

The school will be based in the Ealing Institute of Media in the west London borough of Ealing. The establishment is a partnership between Actor Prepares, Ealing Institute of Media and regeneration agency Heathrow City Partnership.

This acting school is the outcome of increasing linkages in recent years between Indian films and Britain in terms of story themes, actors, locales and post-production activities. Several Indian films are shot in Britain every day while regional agencies offer incentives for Indian film producers to shoot and carry out post-production work in their regions.
