Frustrated with unsolicited telemarketing SMS messages and phone calls? Don’t worry ,you have the option to eliminate it by registering with National Do Not Call Registry . NDNC will be available from Sep 2007.
The National Do Not Call Registry (NDNC) gives you a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls is being set up by Communications and IT Ministry of India. Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 45 days. If they do, you can file a complaint with your Telecom service provider. You can register your home or mobile phone for free with your Telecom service provider. Your registration will be effective for 10 years.
