Career Launcher, India’s largest CAT coaching centers survey findings says, only 10 % total strength in the IIM- Indian Institutes of Management are female and the percentage in the corporate world is even less, mostly dominate by males.

Fact is that candidates with stronger quantitative background make it to the IIMs.Nearly 230,000 candidates took CAT this year, competing for a total of 5,000 seats as against around 190,000 candidates last year.

Indian national action plan on climate change by the Prime Minister’s council will be released next month. Nobel laureate R K Pachauri and environment secretary Meena Gupta, Prodipto Ghosh are some of the expert members of the PM’s council on climate change.

The PM’s council report would document India‘ plans and policies on climate change and also lay out a strategy for the future.
