The Hindu to launch ‘ERGO’: an IT tabloid

The Hindu, with its largest base of circulation in Tamil Nadu, is all set to roll out an IT based tabloid called ‘ERGO‘, starting with Chennai,
Distributed free of cost, the publication targets the city’s youth, particularly those in the IT sector. ‘ERGO’, an IT term for a web-based system that allows forms or grants to be submitted electronically through institutional processes.
The tabloid will start with an initial print run of 50,000 copies to be distributed free of cost in popular IT parks across the city. Once the newspaper gains ground in Chennai, it might expand to other IT centres such as Bangalore.

Bangalore-based India’s Second Fastest Growing Company, Rajesh Exports will be launching nine brands of diamond jewellery. Rajesh Exports will roll out 100 ‘Shubh Jewellers‘ stores in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. It is kind of first time that a jewellery company is launching nine brands simultaneously.
