Liberhan Commission - the Commission witch probes the circumstances leading to demolition of Babri Masjid was set up in December 16, 1992 has spent around Rs 7.20 crore so far. The original three months of the commission has been extended to 42nd time till date. Latest is that the commission was given its 42nd extension for two more months.

India is the second fastest growing economy in the world, at this point spending Rs 7.20 crore for a probe instead of development and infrastructure, will make the country’s development to dust.

Sri Sathya Sai Airport in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, is up for sale.

Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, which manages the religious assets and work of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, has invited bids for it and put the floor price at Rs 600 crore. This airport is spread over 450 acres. Its runway is 2,230 metres long and currently being used mostly by chartered aircraft. Kingfisher and chartered aircraft’s are using this airport as a stopover for their Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam services.

Reliance Retail, part of Reliance Industries is launching ‘Reliance Jewelry’ this Diwali., which makes Reliance’s jewellery foray.

Reliance will be the second corporate after the Tatas to enter the Rs 70,000 crore Indian jewellery industry. Reliance Jewelry will directly compete with Tanishq( Tatas Jewelry brand).Tata’s Tanishq is the largest jewellery retail chain in India with Rs 1,000 core annual turnover.

Reliance Jewelry is launching its first store at ‘Bangalore‘ and will roll out 400 outlets in the 3 years.
